About ourselves

The registered non-profit association for the promotion of studies about body identity disorders was founded in Zurich in March 2013, parallel to a scientific conference about the same topic, the Conference on Xenomelia. Among the members of the non-profit association are scientists, medical doctors, persons suffering from BID and everyone who is interested in the topic. Our association is registered in Freiburg/Breisgau (Germany) and was recognized as a non-profit association.

Our goals:

A consulting committee, which counts renowned researchers in the field of body identity disorders among its members, supports us to reach our goals.

We would be pleased if you would like to help us to shed light on this area, which has not yet been researched very well. You can support us by becoming a member or making a donation. To become a member, please fill out a membership form and send it to the association address below. With a contribution of 36.00 euros you support us for a full year. If you would like to get involved financially, please choose the annual contribution in the declaration of membership, or donate your desired amount to the association account.

The donations benefit in full the promotion of research and the statutory goals. The commitment of all members of the association is voluntary. If you have any questions about the use of your donation, you are welcome to send us an e-mail, which we will answer promptly.

Please transfer your donation to the account:
