About ourselves

The registered non-profit association for the promotion of studies about body identity disorders was founded in Zurich in March 2013, parallel to a scientific conference about the same topic, the Conference on Xenomelia. Among the members of the non-profit association are scientists, medical doctors, persons suffering from BID and everyone who is interested in the topic. Our association is registered in Freiburg/Breisgau (Germany) and was recognized as a non-profit association.

Our goals:

A consulting committee, which counts renowned researchers in the field of body identity disorders among its members, supports us to reach our goals.
